T.N.P. SOLON (ESD.gr)
Theesd.grhosts the SOLON Legal Information Bank, with legislation, jurisprudence and detailed articles on legal issues concerning citizens and professionals. The competition in legal searches is intense, with large portals and news sites.
The goal was to make esd.gr a point of reference inGoogle organic searchesfor legal issues, consistently bringing in large organic audiences without paid advertising.
esd.gr is not a site with a few pages. It is an archive of over 6,000 articles, growing every day with new publications from the editorial team.
At that size, a title template or a stuck sitemap affects thousands of pages at once. And because the content is legal, as inlaw office Hahali, Google demands accuracy and trust in every result.
01
About 6,300 URLs, with auto-template titles that were up to 236 characters
02
Public and subscription articles on the same site, with sitemap URLs that lead to the login page
Competition from news sites and major legal portals on the same questions
05
New articles every day, so every solution had to work for tomorrow's content as well
Our approach
Step 01
6,300 URLs, a technical map
Full audit went through every sitemap post, page and subscription product. We found static NewsArticle schema that repeated itself on every URL, author pages in noindex, file pagination open in the index, and sitemaps that had stopped updating.
Health score per module: technical, YMYL content, on-page, schema, speed
Status of each URL of the sitemap, with a separate list for those that redirect
Priorities based on how many pages each finding affects
Step 02
Over 1,700 metas, a rule
The title of each article was taken from the Rank Math template, often twice what Google shows. We wrote a unique title and description for over 1,700 articles, in batches of 50, with strict character limits and a script check before each upload.
Each batch was uploaded via API and rechecked live to make sure Google sees exactly the text we wrote.
Step 03
Three legal issues, one lot each
Pedestrian encroachment, subsidiary capital, and moral tort have hundreds of articles each. We worked on them as whole clusters: the 133 articles on pedestrian entrainment were all covered, and the same was done progressively for the other two topics.
Where an article was actually about another subject, the title was written for its actual content. Honest snippet means right click.
Step 04
84 articles back to sitemap, 0 redirects within it
The sitemap cache was frozen, so new articles never reached Google through it. Caching was disabled with snippets, subscriber URLs were excluded, and duplicate articles were 301d to the main URL. Sitemaps resubmitted to Search Console.
Step 05
168 keywords in continuous monitoring
Every decision is based on data: GSC per query and URL, live SERP checks and position tracking for the legal searches that count. So we know which issues are winning, like pensions and phantom years, and where the next batch of work is going.
